Our Story
At Imani, we believe true transformation starts with faith. In Swahili, Imani means “faith,” and faith is the antidote to fear—the very force that holds us back from living the life we deserve. Fear limits us in every area of life: health, wealth, relationships, and success. What we often fail to realise is that the fears we don’t confront are the ones that keep us from reaching our deepest desires.
The challenges we face—whether in body shape, weight, confidence, or overall well-being—are not just isolated problems to fix. They are reflections of deeper, internal struggles: habits, mindsets, beliefs, and fears that manifest in unhealthy ways. These fears breed limiting beliefs, self-doubt, and poor habits, keeping us from realising our full potential.

Over the past decade, we’ve watched countless quick-fix trends come and go, each one promising results but leaving people more frustrated and defeated than before. None of them offered lasting change.
In our search for sustainable solutions, we uncovered a critical truth: the problem isn’t body shape or weight. We don’t have body image issues, weight problems, or health challenges—we have personal challenges. Our habits, mindsets, beliefs, identities, and fears manifest in ways that impact our bodies, happiness, and overall health, preventing us from achieving the body, confidence, and lifestyle we truly desire.

Mel Oliech is the Co-founder of Imani Tribe Transformations, the world’s leading personal coaching company in habit and mindset change, and holistic weight loss.
She is also the co-creator of the Diet Antidote Transformation System®️(DATS Personal Coaching Program®️) — The Not-Diet-Diet for people who want more than a good body.

Mel is driven by leaving her mark on the world. She loves throwing herself in the deep end because this is where she believes you learn the most. Mel is a trailblazer who uses her experiences and knowledge to help others become the best version of themselves.
She has travelled the world many times on her own, run a sub 3.30 marathon, learnt hip hop dancing at 30 years of age, raced in Stand Up Paddle boarding, and trained with an Olympian Sprint Coach in Miami.
She loves movement and keeping active in many different ways whether it’s in the gym, running, dancing, hiking, playing basketball, roller blading, cycling, yoga or stand up paddle boarding. She believes it keeps you young at heart, mind & body.
She is Australian Mauritian, a loving mumma to Tsavorah and proud wife, sister, daughter and aunty who loves being her best for the people she loves most.
Her favourite kind of day would be a relaxing picnic in nature on a sunny day with some family fun ball games.

Co-founded in 2015 together with his wife and business partner Mel Oliech, with a strong mission to disrupt the diet culture, redefine the weight loss paradigm and empower people to reclaim their freedom, vitality and quality of life without dieting, and a vision to free the world from the diet culture.

He has mentored other health and fitness professionals to master the art of coaching and become more than just personal trainers whilst building a meaningful and wildly successful business that gives them consistent income, freedom and lifestyle they desire.
Ronnie is also the co-host of the famous Imani Transformations blogs, with tens of thousands of fans across the globe and he is currently co-writing his first book with his wife.
He is passionate about Brazilian jiu jitsu and hopes to start a charity in Africa someday to empower and give hope to the underprivileged children.
Ronnie appreciates good filtered coffee, Messina ice-cream, food in general, and has mastered the art of making chapati just like his mother’s.
You can find him either being innovative at home, exploring and soaking up the beautiful culture of the streets of Melbourne or exploring the world with his family every summer.
