Hey, we are Mel and Ronnie, founders of Imani Tribe Transformations, a global personal coaching company with its headquarters in Melbourne Australia.

We strongly believe people don’t have weight problems, confidence problems, health problems, professional problems, business problems, parenting problems or relationship problems.

People have personal problems (identities, habits, mindset, beliefs and fears) that reflect throughout their life.

Transformation is NOT before and after photos. It isn’t fitness and exercise or food and nutrition.

Transformation is acquiring the knowledge, systems, tools and skills to help you overcome the personal problems (obstacles) that are preventing you from having the body and life you want.

Put simply, weight loss takes care of itself when we focus on solving our personal problems (identities, habits, mindset, beliefs and fears).

With our state-of-the-art global personal online coaching, we welcome members from all over the world. However, our residents in Melbourne’s Outer Eastern suburbs —Croydon, Ringwood, Park Orchards, Warranwood, Wonga Park, Warrandyte, Doncaster and surrounds, right through to the Yarra Valley — have the added advantage of face-to-face personal training from our ‘members only’ private, boutique transformation studio conveniently located on Main Street in Croydon.

How it works

Collect initial data

We ask about yourself, your goals, what you’ve done in the past, your health and fitness challenges and your daily routine. We also collect detailed initial data of your nutrition, habits, lifestyle and exercise history to understand where we need to make changes, and your strengths we can build upon.

Develop personal plan

Instead of giving you a ‘one-size-fits-all’ program, we create a personalised program that will fit into your lifestyle, which you will be able to commit to. This ensures consistent and long-term results.

Introduce DATS™️ System

The DATS™️ system gives you structure and accountability to implement the plan with consistency. This system also helps you improve your awareness around the habits that cause you to self-sabotage your weight loss.

Collect and track data

Improved consistency gives us more data. Having data (e.g information on eating, exercise, sleeping, mood and stress) means we will know what’s working, and what’s not working, instead of guessing. Data will also highlight what habits you’ve mastered, and what habits you still need to change, in order to keep progressing.

Tweak the initial personal plan

Based on the current data on what is and isn’t working, we will make changes or tweaks to your personal plan.

Implement the tweaked plan

Using the DATS™️ system, we implement the tweaked plan, using the structure and accountability features to ensure consistency and data tracking.

Collect and track more data

As we continue to collect and track data, we increase our knowledge and awareness around what works, what doesn’t and what may need tweaking to keep you moving forward towards your goals. The more we collect and track data, the more we reveal the blind spots and habits that need to be addressed.

Rinse and repeat the process

We keep repeating the process of data collection and tracking, tweaking the plan and implementing the plan

Why We Are Different

Unlike the diet plans and all weight loss programs, that focus on nutrition and fitness, the foundation of the DATS™️ Program is habit and mindset change.

This is because focusing on food and exercise without addressing the habits and mindsets that got you overweight is a bit like refilling a flat punctured tyre with air over and over instead of sealing the puncture and addressing the reason why the puncture exists in the first place.

Just like refilling a flat punctured tyre with air over and over instead of sealing the puncture is nothing but a temporary solution, so is focusing on nutrition and fitness without addressing the habits and mindset that got you overweight.

Focusing on food and exercise might help you lose weight temporarily but it will not help you keep it off because you cannot achieve weight loss and transformation with the same mindset and habits that got you overweight.

Relying on food and exercise for weight loss is also a bit like taking painkillers for a persistent headache.

While they may ease the symptoms they won’t treat the cause of your persistent headache, which means you will still get headaches when the medication wears off.

This explains why people struggle with their weight for years and years no matter how well they eat and how much they exercise.

To successfully treat your persistent headaches, you need to uncover and address the reason why you get them.
